What is the difference between inkjet cartridges HP 903 (standard or XL) and HP 934/935 XL?  Just had to buy a new printer through a hardward failure on one that was just 13 months old.  The old one used HP 934 / 935. They look exactly the same except with different numberings and are installed exactly the same way and using the same method.

Could the HP 934/935 be used instead of the HP 903 without damaging the OJP 6960 as I had just installed some brand new HP 934/935 into the defunct printer?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

No, the cartridges are designed for a particular printer.  It cannot be used in another printer that is using a different cartridge number.

Hope that helps!
