Disconnected long clear plastic ribbon when clearing paper jam

When clearing a paper jam I disconnected the right side of the long clear plastic ribbon behind the front door of the printer. The left side of the ribbon is still connected and has a smiley face on it. The right side of the ribbon has a small rectangular opening. Can anyone help me figure out how to reconnect the right side of this ribbon? Thank you.
