Product: Envy 5542
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Display shows "Load plain white paper into Main Tray and press OK." Each time i attempt to print I receive this message even though there is paper in the tray. I pull out the paper tray, remove the paper, reinsert the tray and press OK. The message reappears each time I begin to print.

This message is typically generated when the paper size or type set on the control panel of the printer does not match what the program wants to print on. When you load paper into the printer you need to tell the printer what type of paper it has. Typically this setting is letter size and plain type.
