I tried scanning document, the document never went into the printer it said misfeed, Now the printer error on the screen says DOCUMENT FEEDER JAM, I cannot get the error message off my screen now i can't scan any documents. there is no jam but the message won't clear

@Matt211, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand. This could be a false error. However, kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - ADF does not pick paper or feeds in too many sheets

 

Update the printer firmware if possible

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.
