Hi, We are trying to print the PDF document with PJL commands to enable duplex from our application to the Laser Jet M507 printer, but however we are not getting the desired duplex print and printer just prints in Simplex.
We want to understand if M507 support PJL. we tried the same file on the models like Laser JET M553 and it works.
Appreciate if you can check and respond. below are the PJl Commands we used on top of PDF data Stream.
PJL SET DUPLEX = ON
PJL SET BINDING = LONGEDGE
PJL SET ORIENTATION = PORTRAIT
PJL SET STAPLE = OFF
PJL SET COPIES = 2
PJL SET RENDERMODE = COLOR
PJL SET DATAMODE = COLOR
PJL ENTER LANGUAGE = PDF

On newer models PJL support can be disabled and it is possible your printer shipped that way. In the embedded webserver of the printer, go to the security tab and under general security you should see an option to enable/disable PJL commands. Also note that some devices do not have duplex capability. You need to have either a M507dn or M507X
