A shortage of ink should not directly prevent your printer from connecting to the internet. The ink levels in your printer primarily affect its ability to print documents and images, not its network connectivity. Your HP Inkjet 2600 series printer connects to the internet (usually via Wi-Fi) to access online services, perform firmware updates, and use web-based printing services.

 

If you're experiencing issues with connecting your printer to the internet, it could be due to several other factors unrelated to ink levels, such as:

  1. Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is working correctly. You can check this by connecting other devices to the same network.
  2. Printer Settings: Check the printer's network settings to ensure it's correctly configured to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  3. Router Settings: Sometimes, routers may block new devices or have settings that limit connectivity. Ensure your router allows new devices to connect.
  4. Firmware Updates: If your printer's firmware is outdated, it might cause connectivity issues. Check if there are any pending updates for your printer.Click here

Thanks for your previous reply,I have been waiting for a tri ink cassette to.test my printer, my printer was showing approx  no tri colour ink and nearly full black ink, my profile was showing as half and half

.I  AM A MEMBER OF INSTANT INK 

When my ink arrived I tried it in the printer and it took the low ink.off , but now I have the blue internet light flashing and a  continuous information light which stays on all the time but still can't  connect to internet, I tried all the cable disconnection and reconnect combinations before writing this query , alas, I have failed .OR

IS IT NEW PRINTER. TIME.??
