I get a second paler image halfway down the page as though the image remains on the drum after it has printed. I get no error message.
It's an HP Color Laser 150nw. I'm only on my second set of toner cartridges so it ought not be the drum and I get no error messages. Any suggestions?

Hi SandyTechy20
Thanks but regrettably I've tried that without success. I've also run the HP Print and Scan Doctor which finds nothing wrong.
It seems that the image isn't cleared from the drum as it completes its rotation and appears as a paler and smudgy version about two thirds down an A4 page, like this:
If someone can confirm what causes this it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

This type of behavior is often caused by the fuser. It might be an issue with the fuser or it may be that the media you are using is not well matched to the print settings you are using. Make sure that you have the paper type set to match the loaded paper. For example, plain for regular paper. Leaving paper type as ANY will cause this error. Also make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall to ensure that the printer is getting enough power to work properly.
