I need a driver for an printer DJ 3550 for Vista 32 bit.

Edits - RATS - wrong information!  Correcting...

 

Found the following..

NOTE:  The driver is not directly sourced from HP.

HP Deskjet 3550 Drivers Download (3500)

 

Checking "Add a Printer" procedure...

 

Add-a-Printer provides basic drivers - first pass after "The printer I want isn't listed",  showed in the HP list (right column): HP Deskjet 3500 series, the DJ 3510, DJ 3520, and DJ 3540

 

Clicked "Windows Update" within the Add a Printer menu to refresh the list (takes several minutes) - After doing so, the HP Deskjet 3500 series disappeared from the list.  ???

 

No idea what that means since the "update" is supposed to improve things and not make it worse.  I suppose it is possible the driver for the Deskjet 3500 series was "just recently dropped".  ??

 

Sorry, no other ideas at the moment.
