Deskjet 2755e printer. Recently switch from hp instant ink to regular store bought ink cartridges. They are HP brand (not a knock off cartridge). Once I installed the new ink cartridges the printer printed 1 page then stopped working. It is now showing Error E0!. The color ink icon is also blinking orange. I have tried to restart the printer, unplug the printer, and gently wipe the connection of both the ink cartridge and printer to remove any chance of dust but nothing seems to be working. Even if I try to print in black and white nothing will print.

Hi @GoLowGolf,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
An E0 error indicates an unusable cartridge: This occurs when one or both ink cartridges need attention. Reseat both cartridges,
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
