I understand your HP ENVY 6055 All-in-One is showing an E3 error even though there are no paper jams and all recommended fixes have already been tried. Let’s go through a few focused checks to help identify what may still be causing the error.

Perform a full power reset
With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and turn the printer back on.

Check the paper path manually
Open the input tray, output tray, and cartridge access door.
Use a flashlight to look for small scraps of paper, labels, or foreign objects that may not be obvious.

Inspect and clean the paper feed rollers
Turn the printer off and unplug it.
Gently rotate and clean the visible rollers using a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water, then allow them to dry completely.

Verify carriage movement
Open the cartridge access door and check that the carriage moves freely from side to side.
Any resistance or hesitation can trigger an E3 error even without a paper jam.

Remove and reload paper correctly
Remove all paper from the input tray and reload a small stack of plain paper.
Adjust the paper width guides so they touch the paper without bending it.

Check for sensor obstruction
Look inside the printer for ink buildup or debris near the paper sensors.
Dirty or blocked sensors can falsely detect a paper jam and cause an E3 error.

Test without paper loaded
Power on the printer with no paper in the tray.
If the E3 error appears immediately, the issue is likely related to a sensor or internal mechanism rather than paper.

Allow extended idle time
Leave the printer powered off and unplugged for 10–15 minutes.
This can allow internal components and sensors to reset fully.

I hope this helps.
