Hello All,
I'm unable to perform scanning operations in my printer HP printer AIO 3636. Could see error code E5 in printer display.
How to troubleshoot this error?
Is it possible to troubleshoot it in the home itself or else it needs to sort out by hp service center? if it was done by the hp service center how much it will cost.
Already tried all the software troubleshooting, I suspect it might be a hardware problem.
Tried https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-and-Copying/Deskjet-3632-scan-error-E5/m-p/5909958#M15... but no luck
Isolated the printer from PC and tried photocopy still not working.
Please share your thoughts.

Reset the printer, and then try to scan again.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
Attempt to scan the item again.
If the issue persists, check you printer warranty.
