ENVY 7800 won't print double sided automatically - program window states 'manual / duplex printing'

Printing from Word, Adobe (no matter wich program),  automatic double sided printing is not accessible. Instead, 'manual duplex printing ' is the only possibility ( so you have to feed one-sided prints back into paper tray to get the other side done). Thank you for your tips.
" HP Print and scan doctor" doesn't find such a problem.

In "HP Smart" I cannot find settings concerning autom. double sided printing.

Printer is connected to PC  by USB.
