I have just installed a new Envoy 4520 all-in-one printer and it will not print in colour when a test page, or indeed any other print job is sent to print, it will only print in grey scale. I have checked the usual options and it would seem that they are correct.
Any suggestions would be grateful received

Let's try using HP Print and Scan Doctor to check connectivity
If you have Windows 10 or 8, download a special version of HP Print and Scan Doctor specifically created to help with printer offline conditions. Skip to the next step if your computer does not have Windows 10 or 8.
-
Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
-
Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
-
If your printer in not in the list, turn it off and on, and then click Retry.
-
If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
-
Click Fix Printing.
If the issue persists, I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and retry, follow the steps below:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Then, Click on this link: download the drivers and install it.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I understand that you are unable to print in colors and even the Test page prints out in grayscale.
I'll try my best to help
I suggest you perform a Printer Reset
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed
Then update the Firmware from this Link: https://hp.care/2rfIQSE
Are you able to make a Color Photocopy?
If the issue persists, please clean the Printhead
-
Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.
-
On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, then touch Setup
.
-
Touch Tools, then touch Clean Cartridges.
The printer prints a Print Quality Diagnostic report.
-
Examine the print quality on the Print Quality Diagnostic report.
-
If the print quality is acceptable, click No. You can stop troubleshooting.
-
If the print quality is unacceptable, click Yes when prompted to perform the next level of cleaning.
NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.

Hi KrazyToad
Thank you for your post
Right, I have completed all the you suggested, no change.
The printer will copy in colour though!!!!
I can only assume that perhaps there is a setting that I have missed?
Any further suggestions would be welcome.
Regards Philct
