We moved from America to France, and went through the trouble of bringing the printer. After all, it says it takes 220volts so it should work, righ?
Nope it doesn't...
The ink cartridge died, so we bought the one sold here: HP 300. On the box, it says that it's compatible with our Envy 114. Well, clearly not! A bit of googling and here I am: this is due to some incredible region protection, so what can we do now? Order a bunch of HP 60 cartridges from the US??? How much is that going to cost!
Throw the printer and never ever buy HP again? Sounds like the solution. Unless someone out here can help.
Thanks.

Wrote to them a week ago, no reply yet, will follow up when I get some news...
Had to hit a "contest" button as the form first said that my product was out of warranty. Hey, I just spent 50€ on cartridges, they're brand new!

Ok, after having written 3 times via the link you gave me, I found a phone number to support. 45 minutes later, and thanks to the dedicated helper, our printer was able to spring to life again, with brand new "european" ink cartridges!
