Hi @Dansachef,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code OXO2B7C2ED on your HP Envy 4500 typically indicates an issue with the printer’s internal system or a hardware malfunction. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cable from the wall socket.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Plug the power cable back in and turn the printer on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer's paper tray and check for any paper jams.
  • Carefully remove any stuck paper.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the power button for 15 seconds while the printer is on.
  • After releasing the button, wait a moment, then try to power on the printer again.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • If the printer is still connected to the network, check for firmware updates via the HP Smart app or HP’s website.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall the printer drivers from your computer.
  • Download and reinstall the latest drivers from the HP support website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
