I have had this printer for several months, and it HAS printed in color in the past. Suddenly it will not print in color either from MS Word or from Photos. I have tried about every suggestion offered in the posts, with no success. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Alan,

The problem probably is in the print settings.  Please see the pics I placed on the below link.  You may have the default setting in Print Dialog for B&W only.  The grayscale could affect that (maybe).  If that doesn't help please provide some info.

Does it copy both B&W and color?  I assume that it prints in B&W satisfactorily?  Can you scan to the computer.

Has something changed recently.  Did Win 10 upgrade?  Did you print something unusual.  Are you using Instant Ink?

RichAnt,

thanks for the response. My printer did not have the option to choose color on the first screen -- there was nothing below the "Quality" options, and I honestly can not tell you how the "Grayscale" was checked. What I did was the old "uninstall the printer" and then "reinstall it." It is working fine now. Thanks, but I'll remember that "Grayscale - Off" on the Advanced page should it happen again.

I appreciate your help.
