Hi have an HP Envy 4520. The paper support arm comes out but dosent return auotmaticly to the printer after i remove the paper?

Welcome to the HP Community @Richsand007,

 

The paper support arm on the  Envy 4520 is spring loaded so it can only extend automatically. To retract the arm you must manually 'push' the arm back, as there is no component built into the printer that will retract it automatically.

I have the same problem. But, I have pushed on it fairly hard and it won't retract. I don't want to break it.
