Ever since I bought this printer, it has never managed to give me a good quality printout. The text print out appears to be smudge, not focused (with ghost effect). If one looks at a straight horizontal line, it has got squiddly line on top and bottom.

I have tried all the followings: clean print head, align print head, remove smudge, clean iink smear, basically everything that the print quality tools provid but to no avail.

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

It looks like you have tried all possible steps mentioned in this document to improve the print quality. I'm afraid, its a possible cartridge or printer failure. You may call HP Support to obtain all available repair/replacement options. I've send you a private message with introductions on how to contact your regional HP Support. Could you please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
Have a great day!
