HP Envy 5032

Recently had to change both the black and colour ink cartridges in my printer, one an HP and the other an HP refill as they had run out.

Since then my printer won't print.  The paper goes in and comes out ok but there is nothing printed.

I have been told that for it to work again, I have to sign up to Instant Ink - is this true? Will this cost me extra?

I wasn't made aware of this at PC World when I bought the printer

Your printer should print without signing into Instant ink service.

If the printer acts like it is printing and paper comes out empty then you have an ink cartridge problem, and inks needs to be replaced.
