Printer registers as Connected to WlFi. Printer previously worked. Sent my Pavilion laptop in for repair & had to reinstall 123.HP for eprinting from laptop. When I try to print the document it sticks on the search for printer screen and will not go further. The display on the printer is blue with no ICONS to tell it what you want to do with the document. I tried troubleshooting the printer and got the response that there were no problems with the printer.

Welcome to HP forums.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor
Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor to automatically diagnose and resolve printer hardware and connection issues.
If your printer is not found on the Choose Your Product step, click My product is not listed for steps to connect the printer.

Perform root level uninstalltion to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Sorry I did not get back with you sooner. I have been ill. I followed all of your instructions and the display screen on the ENVY 5055 printer is still blue. The ICONs are not visible so I can not print from a file or scan a document. I am going to try to reach HP by phone because in addition to the printer problems I am having trouble with the cursor on my laptop again even after the touchpad board and cable were replaced. The first time I used the product after the “repair” and it still has the same problem.
This is the first time I purchased HP products and I am very disappointed with their quality.
Thanks for for your help in trying to assist me.
