Bought the 5055 last month. Love it to death. About a week ago every computer in my house says it is disconnected. Rebooted it. No change. Reset it and reconnected to wifi, no change. Uninstalled printer from the computer, rebooted computer, the reinstalled printer worked great!! Next day same thing. three different computers (iMac and 2 MacBook pros). If we want to print we have to email it to it as a PDF. This is ridiculous, what do I do??

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!
It's possible that the wireless router is blocking or not able to forward multicast packet (Bonjour). Multicast packet (Bonjour) allows Apple devices to locate the printer on a WiFi network. Please contact your internet service provider or router manufacturer and check if the router is able to forward multicast packet. If the router is able to forward Bonjour packets then try the following steps:
1.) Use the steps available here to update software on Mac.
2.) Use the steps available here to update the printer firmware.
Once you update Mac and printer firmware, restart printer and Mac and then try to print. If issue persists, try the steps available here.
Let me know how it goes!

Have you tried the steps available in this document?
Were you able to contact your internet service provider or router manufacturer and check if the router is able to forward multicast packets?

Thanks! Let's try resetting the printer network settings, reconnecting the printer back to the network and then setting up the printer with Apple AirPrint. Here is how to do it:
1.) Unplug your modem/router and leave it powered off.
2.) Restart your printer, from the printer control panel, touch "Setup". Touch 'Network Setup", touch "Restore Network Settings".
3.) Power off your printer
4.) Reconnect your modem/router and wait for it to re-establish its internet connection.
5.) Power on your printer.
6.) Run Wireless setup wizard on the printer to connect it back to your network.
Once the printer is connected, use the steps below to remove the existing printer driver and add a compatible driver:
1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
4.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
6.) Try to print.
Keep me posted!
