Hello, I have had HP Envy 5544 for some time, works well. I am based in the UK and use A4 paper size. However, for a specific project I am working on right now I actually need to print on US letter-size stock of paper I have. I seem to be unable to fit this paper size into the paper tray as the paper-width guides are not wide enough to accommodate this size of paper. The bottom of the tray does list letter and A4 sizes however. I have read the manual and can't find anything to help me solve my problem on my own so hoping someone here may be able to help. Is it the case that this printer is for UK market only so can't accommodate the US letter-size paper? Many thanks everyone

You should remove tray, use your hands to make paper width guides wider for letter size and the paper should fit like a glove.

Are you sure you have letter size?

Thanks for helping me out! I am sure I have letter size paper, as it is wider than A4. It has actually been sent to me from the US and it is slightly thicker stock which has details pre-printed and I now need to add personalisation details. I digress, but yes I do have US letter-size paper. Now, when you say remove the paper tray. I have tried doing that and I can't do it, it feels like this may actually dislodge the tray out of its natural position and then it will not fit back in. I have turned the printer sideways to have a look and I cannot see a way of doing this, and the manual doesn't indicate this is possible. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks again

And just to supplement my reply... the guides are as wide as they can possibly go within the tray. I cannot see a way of actually removing the tray. I can only assume this printer is for UK market.
