Envy 6000 series all-in-one not working, all lights flashing.

 

In a thread where someone else was having this problem, the suggestion was to update firmware. I was unable to do this via any of the options listed on the firmware update help page. 1) From the HP Smart app, I get a "can't open printer home or EWS page" error. 2) Printer does not have a control panel to do this from there. 3) Downloaded firmware for Windows - the window did not have any printers listed. 

 

Edit to add - I did finally get the HP printer update for Windows to work and it says it's up to date. Also, the HP Smart printer diagnostic finally ran instead of hanging, and it says printer failure. 

 

I have tried restarting the printer, that also did not work.
