Hi @alexhrcn
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, I'm sorry you're facing this issue with your HP ENVY 6022e All-in-One Printer. It’s certainly frustrating when a printer isn’t responding, especially if it isn’t even powering on. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check the Power Connection
- Ensure that the printer's power cord is securely plugged into both the printer and the electrical outlet.
- Test the power outlet by plugging in a different device (like a lamp or phone charger) to confirm it’s working.
- If possible, try plugging the printer into a different power outlet to rule out issues with the outlet itself.
Step 2: Perform a Hard Reset
- Unplug the printer from the power source and leave it unplugged for about 1-2 minutes.
- Plug the printer back in and press the Power button (if visible). Sometimes the printer needs a "power reset" to fix internal issues.
Step 3: Check for a Display Issue
- Some printers may have an issue with the screen or the indicator lights, even if they are receiving power.
- If the printer makes any noise or the internal components move when you try to power it on (e.g., the sound of the print head moving), it may be a display or connectivity issue.
Step 4: Test the Printer's Power Supply
- If your printer uses an external power brick, inspect the power adapter for any visible damage or loose connections.
- If the power adapter looks damaged, you might need to replace it.
- If you're unsure, you can try using another compatible adapter (the voltage and current ratings must match exactly).
Step 5: Reset the Printer to Factory Settings
- Unplug the printer from the power outlet.
- Hold down the Power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual power from the printer.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on again.
Step 6: HP Smart App and Wireless Setup
- Ensure that the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Try adding the printer manually in the HP Smart app by going to the app and selecting Add Printer.
- Check if there are any firmware updates for your printer. Sometimes connectivity issues can be resolved with an update.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
