Envy 6055 idle light

I just purchased and set up a Envy 6055printer   So far all is good.  One thing that would be better does any one know if the the glowing blue light -when idle can be turned off?  It is kind of bright at. Isn’t in a bedroom

The constant-on status light is apparently a design choice, that is, the status light does not switch off when the printer is sleeping.

I actually suggested (to another customer) that he cover the printer with a light-weight cloth. 

Of course, I didn't hear back - hiding the light is a poor substitute to having what you want.

that’s what I figured, but wanted to ask someone else.  I will probably cut a pice of black paper and fold it to set there when not in use
