Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I've tried multiple times on different settings, in photoshop, illustrator and indesign. Colours come out too dark and pale not vibrant.

I purched the HP Premium Plus Photo Glossy Paper. Since I've owned this printer I have never been able to get good colour prints on photo paper. I've given up this printer is crap. I used to have an HP printer a very old one, one of the first models and it printed nice colour photos.

A warm welcome to HP Community! I'd like to help.

How is the print quality if you copy a photo or print using the Photos application on your Mac?

Could you also print a print quality test report and let me know the result. In order to print the report:

1.) On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

The Setup menu displays.

2.) Touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.
