Thank you for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums! I see from your post that you are having issues with the printer's touchscreen not working. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you recently made any changes on the printer before the issue started?
Did you try to remove the protective tape from the printer?
Have you tried to update the printer firmware?
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
Let's perform a hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove USB cable, if present.
Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to update the printer firmware, now you can either do this directly from the printer control panel or you can download the printer firmware from our HP support website.

"...now you can either do this directly from the printer control panel..." How can person do it from the screen if that was the problem, SCREEN TOUCH STOPPED WORKING. I do not think that you support people DID read the problem at all and type everything from the script.
Why is it so secret to put the solution here in public?
Nothing been done extra with printer, it just stopped working the touchscreen.
