I installed a new 64 HP color print cartridge and the cyan didn't print. I replaced the cartridge with another brand new HP cartridge and cyan still didn't print. I ran printer clean 3 times and still no success.

Hi @Buff72,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-In-One Printer is not printing cyan even after replacing the cartridge and running the printer cleaning process multiple times, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure that you have properly installed the cyan cartridge. Make sure it's securely clicked into place.
Remove Plastic Tab:
- When installing a new cartridge, check if there is a plastic tab or tape that needs to be removed before inserting the cartridge into the printer. Failing to remove this can prevent ink from flowing properly.
Check Cartridge Expiry:
- Examine the expiration date on the cartridge. If it's expired, the ink may not work correctly. Try using a cartridge that is within its expiration date.
Clean the Printheads Manually:
- If the automatic cleaning didn't work, try manually cleaning the printheads. Follow your printer's manual or HP's official instructions for manually cleaning the printheads. This usually involves removing the cartridges and cleaning the printheads with a lint-free cloth or using the printer's built-in cleaning function.
Check for Air Bubbles:
- Air bubbles in the ink lines can also disrupt printing. Gently tap the cyan cartridge to help remove any possible air bubbles. Do this before installing it in the printer.
Run a More Intensive Cleaning Cycle:
- Some printers have options for deep or intensive cleaning cycles. Check your printer's menu or manual for this feature and run it.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Make sure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes, firmware updates can improve print quality or address issues.
Check for Nozzle Clogs:
- If none of the above steps work, there may be clogs in the cyan printhead nozzles. You can try using a printhead cleaning solution designed for your printer model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
