Hi @Assist515_NK,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The Blue Screen Error B80B746C on your HP Envy Inspire 7900e printer typically indicates a firmware or hardware issue. Since you've already tried basic troubleshooting like unplugging the printer, here are additional steps you can take to resolve the issue.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the Printer: Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Disconnect All Cables: Remove any USB, Ethernet, or other connections.
  • Wait for 2-3 Minutes: Let the printer sit unplugged for a few minutes.
  • Reconnect and Power On: Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Visit HP's Support Website:
    • Go to the HP Support website.
  • Search for Firmware:
    • Enter your printer model number (HP Envy Inspire 7900e).
    • Look for any available firmware updates.
  • Update Firmware:
    • Download and install the latest firmware update if available.

Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Uninstall Current Drivers:
    • Open the Device Manager on your Windows 11 PC.
    • Find your printer under "Printers" or "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and uninstall the driver.
  • Reinstall Latest Drivers:
    • Download the latest drivers from the HP website and install them.

Reset to Factory Defaults

  • Access Printer Settings:
    • If you can access the printer’s settings via its control panel, navigate to the "Setup" or "Settings" menu.
  • Factory Reset:
    • Look for a "Reset" or "Restore Factory Defaults" option and follow the on-screen instructions.

Check for Hardware Issues

  • Inspect Printer Hardware:
    • Check for any paper jams, foreign objects, or loose components inside the printer.
  • Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
    • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and possibly fix the issue.

These steps should help resolve the Blue Screen Error B80B746C on your HP Envy Inspire 7900e printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
