Product: HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer

My printer is convinced that the paper tray is open when it is not.  I have tried HP's crappy "Unplug it and plug it back in." solution to no avail.  There is no damage to my printer.  I have updated all drivers, cycled through all available solutions that I can find online.  There is no reason for the evil orange light to be on.  Help, please!!
