Our MFPM479fdw keeps telling us we have a jam.  We've opened every possible cavity of the machine and see no paper visible.  We've removed the paper tray; dropped the paper "tray"; pulled out the toner rack; opened the back "door"; and flipped up the scanner to see if something was trapped in the finished product feed.  Nothing.

Thank you for the insight.

Ended up popping the left casing off to remove the jammed paper.  4 screws and lots of snaps solved the problem.

Hello @deezy1985 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This error means: A paper jam occurred in the rear door/fuser area.

Hope this helps!
