Hi @Daley365

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The E3 error on your HP Envy 6032e typically indicates a paper jam or an issue with the ink cartridges. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the E3 error:

1. Check for Paper Jams

  • Open the printer and look for any paper stuck in the input or output trays. Remove any jammed paper carefully.
  • Check the paper feed area and the rear access door for any small pieces of paper that might be stuck.

2. Inspect the Ink Cartridges

  • Open the printer and remove the ink cartridges.
  • Check for any protective tape that might not have been removed.
  • Reinsert the cartridges to ensure they are seated correctly.

3. Check the Cartridge Cradle

  • With the printer powered on, look at the cartridge cradle. It should move freely.
  • If it’s stuck, gently try to move it to the center. Be careful not to force it.

4. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

5. Run a Printer Self-Test

  • Print a self-test page to see if the issue persists.
  • You can usually do this from the printer settings menu.

6. Check for Blockages

  • Make sure there are no obstructions in the printer's path. Sometimes, small items or debris can cause issues.

7. Software and Firmware Updates

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check this via the HP Smart app or on the HP support website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
