Hi @XAQRA1960,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you’re dealing with the HP printer Error E4, which usually points to a paper jam or paper feed issue. Since you already cleared the jam and reset the printer, but now see the paper and exclamation lights blinking, I would request you to please follow the steps:

Hard Reset

  • Turn the printer OFF
  • Unplug the power cable
  • Wait 5–10 minutes
  • Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds (while unplugged)
  • Plug it back in and turn it ON

Check the Paper Path Thoroughly

  • Open all access doors (input tray, output tray, rear access if available).
  • Remove any paper stuck in rollers or hidden areas.
  • Ensure no torn pieces of paper remain inside.

Clean the Rollers

  • Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
  • Gently wipe the rollers to remove dust or debris.
  • Let them dry completely before reloading paper.

Reset the Printer Again

  • With the printer powered on, disconnect the power cord.
  • Wait 30 seconds, reconnect, and power on.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
