Hi @Tatiana_25,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the error 41 on the HP LaserJet MFP M234sdwe typically indicates a paper jam or a paper feed issue. This can happen if the paper is stuck, or misaligned, or if there's an issue with the printer's internal components related to paper handling.

Here’s what you can do to resolve it:

Steps to Resolve Error 41:

Turn off the printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer, and unplug it from the power source.

Check for paper jams:

  • Open the input tray and check for any paper jams.
  • Remove any stuck or torn paper from the input tray and the output area.
  • If accessible, check the duplexer and rear access door for any jammed paper.
  • Be sure to pull the paper out gently to avoid tearing.

Inspect the paper path:

  • Open the printer cover and inspect the internal rollers and the paper path for any paper fragments or debris.
  • Look carefully in areas where paper travels through the printer, and ensure there are no obstructions.

Reload the paper:

  • If no paper jams are found, reload the paper tray with the correct paper size and type.
  • Ensure the paper is aligned properly, not wrinkled, and within the capacity limits of the tray.

Reset the printer:

  • Once you’ve checked and cleared any issues, plug the printer back in, turn it on, and see if the error clears.

Check for firmware updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can do this using the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP Support website.

I hope this helps.
