You need to isolate the issue, a 49 error is the technical equivalent of your printer going "what?" In most cases this is caused by a corrupted print job, corrupted driver or out of date firmware. The first step is to disconnect any usb, network cables or wireless (you will probably have to turn off your router to accomplish this). Then power off the printer, unplug the cord and wait 2 minutes. Then power the unit back on and see if it comes to ready with no connections. If it does your next step is to purge the print spooler on your computer following these instructions (they are the same for Windows 11) https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-clear-printer-queue-in-windows-10/7e5ac...
Then try reconnecting the printer to the computer or network. If it will successfully connect go to support.hp.com and download the current firmware for the printer and update following the instructions on the site.
