I'm receiving a blue screen error of B89F6E28.  I've tried rebooting and unplugging the printer for minutes, but a few seconds after boot up, I see the HP splash screen and then the blue screen error shows up.  20200417_081345.jpg

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "error-B89F6E28" issue. 

 

Let's try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

HP 8710 ALL IN ONE -- blue screen, error code B89F6E28. I have searched the community and tried all "fixes" that I have found and nothing works. unplug, wait, press power button & hold, plug back up. Nothing has worked. Please HELP!! Thanks!!

If you have tried the steps mentioned in the previous post and the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printer.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
