Photosmart D5160 worked OK when laid up 3 years ago, now powers up but initialises with Red light on solid and Error Code 03 31 1F F4 4d dd d6 showing in display.
Have tried a Hard Reset but it never gets beyond this and never attempts to feed paper.

@Teide, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand the printer is stuck on the initialization screen. A factory reset is not possible in this scenario.
Check if you can bypass this message to access the home screen of the printer.
Reset the printer (Skip if tried)
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Reinsert the ink cartridges.
If this does not help, unplug the power cable and hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds and release it. Power on the printer and check.
