OfficeJet 6950
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to discern what the code means when It appears on the screen of the Officejet 6950 my parents use. I've searched Google yet not found the definition nor remedy.

I don't know if this will work with your printer but it is fairly simple to try :-

I googled an error and found all sorts of "solutions" that did not work

None of them solved the problem

From years ago I had a memory of this happening to my equipment before and found the answer.

I have no idea why this should be but you have to plug both the computer and printer directly into a mains socket, on no account use and extension socket or anything like it.

DO THIS :-

Uninstall the software for your printer and download a new copy ready to install. Just Google your printer model and the download will be in the results

Then, and this is the important bit that works :

Plug your computer and printer directly into mains sockets, DO NOT USE AN EXTENTION CABLE OF ANY KIND.

Start them both up

install the software download

Let them connect then run a test print - you should find it has solved the problem.
