My printer is unresponsive and displaying "ERROR CODE 0XB8B00C28". I'm unable to find anything on this site or anywhere else on the internet that has any reference to either what this code means or how to resolve it.  I appreciate any help the HP Community can provide.

I eventually did the tried and true, "unplug it and power back on". That appears to be the corrective action. I still find it curious that an error code will display and there is apparently no explanation as to its meaning or resolution ANYWHERE.

Hi@JenY0920,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving a "0XB8B00C28" error on the printer screen.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

To restore the printer to the original factory defaults

1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, swipe left to see ( Setup ) and touch ( Setup ).

2. Touch Tools, touch Restore Factory Defaults, and then follow the onscreen instructions

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

The error indicates a firmware issue.

I am glad the issue is resolved.
