I'd like to know what this error code means. I was able to clear it by  pushing the On/Off switch, which was blinking. I have been having some wireless connectivity issues, in which the signal drops, then returns. Thanks in advance.

Hi @LouiseA1,

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're seeing the error code 0xb00ac5b0 on your HP OfficeJet 4630, it usually points to a firmware glitch, paper jam, or hardware issue. Let's try a few simple steps to fix it.

  1. First, try a quick power reset. Turn off the printer and unplug it from power. Wait for about 60 seconds to clear its memory, then plug it back in and turn it on. See if the error is gone.
  2. Next, check for paper jams and clean the rollers. Open the printer and remove any jammed paper. Check the rollers inside and at the back for dust or torn paper bits. Clean them with a lint-free cloth and some distilled water. Restart the printer and try printing again.
  3. If that doesn't work, try reseating the ink cartridges. Turn off the printer and open the ink door. Remove both cartridges and gently wipe their gold contacts with a dry cloth. Reinsert the cartridges firmly, turn on the printer, and see if the error disappears.
  4. You can also update the printer firmware. Go to HP Support, enter your printer model (OfficeJet 4630), and download and install the latest firmware update.

I hope this helps resolve the issue! Let me know if this worked for you. 🛠
