@rvp2snsd

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

It's a pleasure assisting you in finding answers to your technical queries.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Are you using genuine HP Ink cartridge?

Any hardware changes made in the printer?

Check if there is any jam in the printer and make sure the carriage is moving freely.

I suggest you do a Hard Reset

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

No luck!  Expensive lesson. Don’t ever print heavy ink required pages. This printer cannot handle this kind of printing. A new printer head $120 vs a new printer $199. 🤔😞 sadness to need to replace a printer only 2 years old.

Thank you for your response.

The ERROR CODE appeared shortly after printing 4 pages that were very ink intense.

In response to your questions.....

Yes ,I am using HP INK CARTRIDGE as that I am enrolled in the HP INSTANT INK PROGRAM.

No hardware changes have been made ever to the printer.

I had already checked for any jams before sending you my note and did not find a jam.

As a troubleshooting step I had performed a hard reset and it had not resolved the problem.  But it did not resolve the error code.

@mjcidc I can help, although, here's all I need to know to ensure I help you right:

Did you try the hard reset and the link from the first post?

Is the error appearing on the printer or the computer you've got it connected to?

Which printer do you have?
