Totally agree, I’ve got a replacement being delivered Saturday, I think it’ll just do the same thing. Will report back with how it goes!

They need to release a firmware update....it can't be that hard.

Don't let the replacement printer go online. Connect it with USB.

I checked for updated firmware and now the release that bricked everyone (20250209) is no longer there.

Just received this update:

We will proceed to replace the printer. Can you please share some of your personal details like First name, Last Name, Contact Number, Email ID, Shipping address so that I can create a case for you?

I'm glad the people with warranties are getting new printers, but what about people that are outside of warranty?

Where the hell is this firmware fix?

HP Recommended

I am not under warranty, had a call and later connected with support through Twitter.

So how do the rest of us get a new printer? It wont even allow me to contact HP support at this point just sends me in a loop. Wont recognize the product code either.

This is just a **bleep** show.

@Satya12989789  - What number did you call? Can you please share that with us? Everyone else is getting the runaround with automated menus and loops. How in God's name did you get a real human being? And were they competent and able to be understood clearly? What kind of sorcery did you use to get in touch with them AND receive a new product?

And did you ask them if the new product will have botched firmware as well? What is the warranty on the replacement? At this rate - you  may end up with a warehouse of printers that don't work.
