The website won't accept my serial and model either! 😂

I'm seriously disappointed in how this is all happening and HP is just ignoring it.

I did submit a couple of tips to internet tech news sites to see if they run with it.

Do you know the default password for the printer?  Label states username, is “admin”, but does not indicate the password.

I don’t think it bricked the printer as my old cartridge that came with the printer does not throw ER11.  It looks like the firmware just does not recognize the newer, or specific, printer cartridge security chip.  The newer cartridge is HP 134X.

Default password is on a label inside the cartridge door or on the back and will be an 8 digit sequence of numbers.

Thank you.  Printer PIN worked.

Password is on a label on the inside of the printer where's you'd slide the toner in

The Louis Rossman Youtube Channel might be a good source to reach out to. He has a particular disdain for remotely disabling products.

I encourage as many as possible to post to @HP on the X platform (formerly twitter).  They do not like getting called out on such a public forum and a response is more likely.  Be sure to mention the cause as firmware related and that others are having the same problem.

Thanks
