I am getting the error code 71.02.4B on my work's printer. My coworker said that she changed the ink cartridges and that is when the error first popped up. We have tried powering down, uplugging, cold reset, etc. many times. The error keeps popping up. And I cannot reset printer carriage that is mentioned in another post because it is locked at the far right of the printer. Every time I turn on the printer it makes a whirring/clicking noise that I suspect involves the ink cartridges/carrier.
This is a big issue as it is our main printer for our workplace and we need it to be functioning ASAP.

Perform a power reset , Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
