Product: HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer

Good afternoon, 

 

I am a teacher trying to get ready for school in just a few short days. While printing today, I received the following error code: 

oxb83811bo with flashing lights on the printer. I preceded to call HP Customer Support, but they were not helpful.  I am hoping someone here can help with the error code. I need to have it up and running ASAP. As a last resort, I went and bought a new printer today. I would like to keep it boxed and return it if at all possible.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting an oxb83811bo error, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
