We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

The error code 'OXB81AOC18' on your HP ENVY Photo 6255 All-in-One Printer indicates a system error that can often be resolved by performing a reset. Please follow these steps:

 

Remove the ink cartridges:

  • Turn on the printer and wait until it is idle and silent.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door and remove all ink cartridges.

Power cycle the printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the rear of the printer.
  • Turn on the printer if it does not automatically power on.

Reinstall the ink cartridges:

  • Once the printer is idle, reinsert the ink cartridges into their respective slots.
  • Close the ink cartridge access door.

Print a calibration page:

  • If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to print a calibration page.
