Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Error Code OXB8049FBC shows up about the time it should go into sleep mode.  After unplugging it will be usable for a short time and may go into sleep mode, but always ends up in error code.  I have tried updating the drivers but it either hasn't helped or has been unsuccessful.  It also goes into a flashing error code if I try to scan or copy from the scanner flatbed. But will scan/copy fine after restarting.

I understand you have intermittent errors on the printer with multiple issues. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
