I am receiving an error message that does not appear on the HP Support page to interpret control panel light patterns.
The error appears to be 9°.
According the the HP support article, there are no errors that begin with 9. Has anyone seen this?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Are you able to print from the printer?
- Could you please share the error message or code screen?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

@Echo_Lake,
Thank you for your reply.
No, this did not occur after a recent update. No, I was not able to print from the computer. The error message was shared in my original post. As the HP model in question only displays in an analog fashion, the output could only be described as the number nine (9) and a degree symbol (°). More specifically, it was the top half of the number eight (8) on the display. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo of printer with the error code.
I have since unplugged my machine and let it reset overnight which seems to have been long enough to reset the error.
To be clear, I am not looking for help in restoring functionality to my printer. I am looking to understand what this error means as it is not listed on the Troubleshooting page for this device. I am curious if others have seen it, and if so, why it is not shown on the support page.

Thank you for posting back.
I did go through the document https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05904253 that you've shared and no related error code was found.
- Could you please share the error message or code screen?
Usually, due to corrupted drivers or software, the error code might have occurred.
