My HP 4650 Series Printer has displayed the following codes, 0XB9380FC5, 0XB8854806, 0XB94DA7E6 the last time I used it. I could only remove the errors by doing a hard reset. Can you tell me what the errors are for?

Hi @A1956a,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP 4650 Series Printer displays error codes such as 0XB9380FC5, 0XB8854806, and 0XB94DA7E6, these generic alphanumeric codes often indicate an internal error. The steps you took to perform a hard reset are usually effective for resolving such issues. Here is a more detailed guide on how to perform a hard reset:

Turn Off the Printer:

  • Press the power button on the printer to turn it off.

Disconnect Power Cable:

  • Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer.
  • Also, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet or power strip.
  • Leave the printer disconnected for at least 60 seconds. This allows the printer to cool down and resets the internal memory.

Reconnect Power Cable:

  • Plug the power cable back into the printer.
  • Connect the power cord back into the wall outlet or power strip.

Turn On the Printer:

  • Press the power button to turn the printer back on.
  • Wait for the printer to complete its initial startup routine.

Take care and have an amazing day!
