macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Error EO. I've taken out cartridges and put them back several times, turned machine off & on. Nothing works

I understand you are not able to use the printer due to this error. 

An E0 error indicates an unusable cartridge.

This condition occurs when at least one ink cartridge needs attention, is faulty, incorrect, missing, damaged, or incompatible. Reseat both ink cartridges, clean the ink cartridge contacts, restart the printer, and replace one or both ink cartridges if necessary.

 

Insert one ink cartridge at a time and check for the error. By this, we can detect the defective ink cartridge.

 

Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

Use HP ink cartridges.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
